Questions about an official Neosho County docket, case file, hearing, copy, or certification belong with the court office that keeps the record. This private reference site cannot access or alter court files. Neosho County District Court has clerk locations in Chanute and Erie, and the filing category or age of a case can affect which counter holds it. Use the routes below to reach the official source.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference site cannot retrieve dockets, reset court dates, seal cases, issue certified copies, or provide legal advice. Contact the court or clerk directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Match the request to the Neosho County court channel that owns it:

  • Docket sheet: begin with Kansas CaseSearch, then ask the District Court Clerk if the record or document is absent
  • Court date: review the 31st Judicial District calendar and confirm a near-term setting by phone
  • Certified copy: give the clerk the case number and exact judgment, order, or filing needed
  • Case file: use the clerk counter or public terminal at the division that holds the record
  • Municipal matter: contact the city court named on the ticket or notice rather than the District Court Clerk

Chanute is identified for newer criminal and civil categories. Erie holds several older civil, domestic, and limited-civil files plus probate and other listed matters. A hearing may occur at either location. Call before visiting when the file is old or the courtroom is unclear. No verified general District Court email or drop-box request process was found, and the published Erie fax number appears malformed, so it is not repeated here. Ask the clerk for current copy and certification fees before paying.
